Larry and JackieAll of the goats we raise on GBMR routinely are vaccinated, hoof trimmed, treated with Dewormer for goats, and offered free-choice mineral block or molasses-tub supplements. The late-term pregnant does, and lactating does with kids on them, are routinely supplemented with high-quality hay and grain to help maintain their body condition and milk production beyond what the pasture yields nutritionally.

Every goat that we sell is ear-tagged with USDA scrapie-ear tags. We have found that this element is being received favorably by the human kids interested in using our young goat kids for their 4-H projects. We meet IBGA’s guideline for ear tattooing, and recommend the article on how to correctly tattoo your goat that can be found at the Hoeggers website.
